Design Parameters

Ferrite transformers and chokes can be wound using conventional enameled copper winding wire for low voltage applications or Triple Insulated Wire to meet insulation requirements required in SMPS units operating on mains voltages.

The use of higher frequencies in SMPS products can be met by winding with  Mylar insulated foil or multi stranded conventional enamelled copper wire.

Our extensive experience in  this field enables us to produce the winding geometry necessary to achieve the low interwinding capacitance and  leakage reactance needed by today’s power supply designers.
